Student App Upgrade: Dynamic PWA Implementation — Install Individual Subjects as Standalone Home Screen Apps! 📱✨

Previously, when students accessed a direct classroom space via a dynamic subject code URL, the option to natively "Install page as app" was inconsistent. Browsers would either default back to a generic setup or fail to preserve the subject's distinct routing identities.

To eliminate this layout friction, Tatuga School has deployed an advanced Dynamic Web App Manifest Engine inside the student workspace portal!

🚀 Key Enhancements:

  • Per-Subject App Isolation: Every subject classroom now generates a dynamic manifest on the fly. When a student triggers the browser install interface, the resulting application adopts the precise database name of that exact class.
  • Multi-App Coexistence: Students can install multiple classrooms onto their device home screens simultaneously. Each classroom operates under a completely unique manifest identity string, preventing shortcuts from overwriting one another.
  • Zero-Friction Launch Tracking: Clicking an installed classroom app launches it straight into an immersive, clutter-free standalone viewport mode—bypassing standard browser URL address bars and navigating immediately into the corresponding target subject framework.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility: Fully tested and compliant with continuous manifest tracking heuristics under Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Android environments, and iOS Safari Add-to-Home-Screen workflows.
